Margulies had been an architect and interior designer for the Schine Company chain of hotels and theatres. He joined with J. Gordon Lippincott in 1944.

1909-1998
US industrial designer who graduated from Swarthmore College in 1931 as an engineer, and obtained a Master’s degree in architecture and civil engineering at Columbia University.
